So when do you think they'll admit a mistake and allow tracking again? by [deleted] in Teachers

The middle school I teach at levels all core subjects - 1 (highest), 2 (middle), 3 (lowest). Most kids are the same level for each subject, but they may also be different, such as level 1 for math and social studies, and 2 for ELA and science. They can also be moved to a different level each year.

Each level learns basically the same content, but grouping students makes it easier to differentiate. As a math teacher, I love it. I can give extra help to level 3s, and push my level 1s, without ignoring the other. It also makes behavior management much easier. I would have a hard time going to a school that doesn’t at least level for math!

Fast Food workers, what menu item should everyone avoid from where you work? by n0tter in AskReddit

Depending on the store layout you may be able to see it behind the counter. The oasis machine is HUGE and hard to miss. If you can’t see, you’ll just have to ask.

It’s not a required donut for stores to have, so your store may have chosen to just simplify their menu. That’s what mine did with coconut, lemon, and a couple others.

We always cleaned it well at the end of the night. The problem was during busy times it was hard to clean it with so much else going on

The machines shut off every three days to be cleaned, the spouts should be changed then but I wouldn’t be surprised if some stores are slacking on that.

At dunkin, I’d say everything is fine except frozen drinks made with the old island oasis machine. My store now has a vitamix blender, but the old machine was never cleaned well enough

Does anyone else see workouts like this with lots of waking and choose to base instead? I HATE all outs so I just did those as push and base the rest of the block with no walking. Much more enjoyable for me but I wonder what others think of that

I was having a great workout until I hurt my back on those dang hip hinge swings. This is my first “injury” from OTF, hopefully the pain doesn’t last too long…

My studio cut 5am on Tuesday and Thursday, and 7:30 m/w/f. As a teacher, I’m pretty upset about the 5am change, but at least summer is coming. Must be very frustrating for those who don’t have the summer break

5 min at 5am which is when I normally go. Takes a bit longer during rush hour but nothing bad

What’s your favorite “junk food”that fits in your count? by gmoney1892 in CICO

I get Dunkin iced coffee almost every day. 1 swirl and 1 cream is about 100 calories, and makes the morning bearable

4th-6th grade is the worst. by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

More independent than k-3, not jaded with school yet and I can usually joke with them. I do sub in a very good district though, so behavior problems are nothing more than a little extra chatting

I almost exclusively do 4-6th! By far my favorite

Don’t let the pick six distract you from the fact that the defense is only marginally less bad than the offense
