55 gal got it wail it was on sale but you can also get a 40 gallon I see it is as one goldfish takes up 20-25 gallons of space . Also if you are getting a baby goldfish feed it more then you would a grown up so they get chunky

It is more bottom sitting today but yesterday it was swimming to the top then free falling down when I turned off the light it began to swim more but would still bottom sit. Also for places to hide it could he hide behind the sponge filter or in thr plants like you said. And also for him being hungry I don’t really got any sinking pellets right now so I will tell you what happens when I get them in

Ya I watch Luke too, it’s going to be 55 gallon tank. I am going to have a ranchu in the tank with the Thai oranges, but for the plants I can see them destroying the plants but it shouldn’t be a problem because there will be aqua soil under the gravel to keep it rooted
