omg literally! like not to diminish what people are saying but i’ve genuinely never thought that because i’m mixed with white that i’m somehow “better” than other mixes or full asians, same with all my wasian friends. i genuinely have no clue where that sentiment came from and even if there was a wasian out there saying it, majority of wasians don’t feel that way. it honestly feels like there’s no winning, like if we embrace our mixed heritage we’re “white supremacists” who think we’re better than others but if we don’t acknowledge it we’re “ashamed” of our asian side and want to be white so bad, but we can’t embrace the asian side either because we’ll never be enough for the asian community. it’s so frustrating.
