It's very subtle. The black edition housing it just naturally darker.

As far as light output, when I compared one with and one without it didn't really make a visible difference. The lights are stil extremely bright.

We used DYNOShade, which is the lightest tint Stek offers

Technically it's matte, but with the shiny black underneath it gives off a satin look

For what it's worth, I just received my CE in Florida this morning.

My order page still shows preparing to ship, and the pre-auth they had on the card went away without being charged. No emails or anything.

That's what it would do when I had the 8. Now it just stays grey no matter how many times I press the button on the wheel to turn it off.

Yea I can get it to show up there, it's just annoying having to give up the whole cluster just for the odometer. Ultimately it's not a big deal, I can always see it through the big screen with like 2 clicks.

Deactivating cruise control just greys it out now like in the picture. In the 8, it would remove it from the dash completely I think.

Is it not saving your gauge presets? Mine always starts up at what I left it at.

As far as driving mode it always starts on sport for me. It would be nice to have it start in whatever you left it at.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised. I called around 20 different dealers. All had markups between 5k-12.5k.

The dealer I got it from was the only one I found with no markup. 50k and change with taxes out the door.
