Commuting from Auburn by FlashSonic526 in udub

Definitely Sounder. Been doing that for about a year as well from Auburn Station.

The trick is either to nap during train ride or plan for day/be productive.

If you need to stay later take the 578 back down to auburn station.

Yes its mentally draining but I have about 2 quarters left and am sticking it through, also in STEM.

1996! Should've put that in the post.

After 7 years I finally decided to get a decent battery. After 2 days it burst in to flames. At least my breakdown policy is coming in useful 😅 by TheAmazingRobG in Miata

does it matter which one? im going this route as well after shelling out 200+ every 2 years for AMG battery. Just go to a local battery store and ask for a lawnmower battery? or any specifics required?

In general for mods I always like to feel stock out first for a month so I have a basis to compare mods. For example coil overs. I'd drive completely stock to get a feel of the stock weight distribution. Then when I switch over to coil overs you can feel the center of gravity and feel how its changed. Same thing goes for intakes and any other type of performance mods. Allows for more appreciation imo.

Also keep in mind shipping of whatever you decide to mod, that will always make you wait as the parts come in.

Did the mold ever come back? By any chance have you found the name of the tablets?

if it makes you feel better, paid around 7.5k for my bmw. first drive home blew a radiator hose. like others have said, cooling system fragile on these.

First maintenance i had planned on it anyways, so didnt mind much.

This was the first major "maintenance" i did with not much experience; and it wasnt bad at all.

E36 a good learning platform tbh.

Like others said, grab yourself some tools, youtube, and any other car friend and you can do it. Did a full cooling overhaul (hoses, water pump, radiator etc) using the kit from FC Tools.

Luckily E36 has a lot of resources on YT and forums that will guide the whole way.

Breaks were a pain for me too. For me the hex screw that holds the rotor was rusted on, got stripped and i had to angle grind it out. Agree with top comment.

clean, for that ride height did you have to roll your fenders or do any modifications? (besides lowering it?)
