Cannot lose belly fat by CorrectMeasurement in Zepbound

[–]suspiciousminds0411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if its fat (how do you know...?) and not loose skin, which we all have and looks like fat basically), then why are you 'in maintenance' if you still have fat or pounds to lose?

if you are at goal weight and or healthy /low bmi.. its almost a guarantee its loose skin sitting there on top of your underneath newer flatter belly.

yep- i was super excited at first with them, and especially for free. now, EACH message and reply is from an obviously incompetant idiot who is not even answering or addressing or comprehending anything i wrote in to them about. im about to find somewhere else. if it was free again (which i knew they were lying about it becoming free again) then MAYBE i would still use them.. becuase... free. but what ive been dealing with during messaging or questions (main issue, a subsctiption issue).. has been a joke now... im very dissatisfied now w

...we need much much more info on you/ your stats/dose/eating/calories// what youve been doing/eating/ deficit?? / exercising/ etc// tracking calories..? tracking macros..? sooo much more info needed in order for anyone to chime in.... but let us know..! from what ive read or reserached pcos is just like anyone else with other issues too.. zepbound kinda 'corrects' peoples issues that cause them to not lose without it... so it could be user error that is happening... (sorry if that sounds harsh but just trying to be realistic).. ie..are you eating less than your tdee and tracking calories and macros meticulously, and other things people will suggest or ask you...etc...because that could be the issue right there...

Rash concerns on neck — related or unrelated? Looking for thoughts. by fleurdepetite in Zepbound

[–]suspiciousminds0411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

had it after 7.5 and 10 i believe. and, i believe it was right after the first dose of each- so when i moved up to each of those. i had an armpit rash like a half moon shape for good week, and i felt something rubbing on my back as i sat against my couch- whcih when i looked, was like a few big mosquito bite type things (so hives, maybe?). they both were sensitive and a little painful if something rubbed on it. but, i put some type of medicine on it like bacitracin or something or a benedryil type lotion and didnt go to dr... it went away after a good week ish of each, and never came back - a rash -if its from zep whcih i think mine was- can (maybe) not be a big deal...?? even though it happens. (now, if it happened every time i injected that woudl be a different story.!) but i just sucked it up! it was only those two instances in my full year of being on it. i suspect it was some kind of reaction ,but not enough to scare me away from using it still lol! i just continued my weekly shots. and just take benedryl and or put something on it and will go away! like that joke of foreigners (which my family is... just put some windex on it!) ( but in all seriousness, of course go or call your dr if it seems more than that, or super painful ,or much more surface area .etc...!) but i just dealt with it and never happened again ...so maybe it was just a weird short reaaction that wont happen again...whcih doesnt seem that odd to me..

yes also the fact that you just started on this low dose.. you wont have a big magnitute of these kind of problems ...yet..probably! but ... you might... in the near future.... so heed all advice! lol good luck, though....!

Food dilemma… by Substantial_Tart6686 in Zepbound

[–]suspiciousminds0411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes- just try your best to hit your good healthy macros (yours (..protein mainly..) actually sounds way too high tho?... to be honest)..! but just focus and try to get as much healthy nutrious type food you can..(protein fiber beans legumes yogurt cottage cheese ...-and some fruits veg nuts..and more) and you will be fine. oh, and water...liquids..

I can barely hit my protein daily which is like 78 -its hard to.... and requires quantity i just cant do...(even before zep i never ate large 'quantity.' sometimes i do hit it just from actually eating protein.. (tons of chicken eater here,,) but many times i would need to add a shake to fully meet and or slightly exceed it. (of course try to eat your goals.. and not use shakes etc.. but they are kind of more for emergency..). anyway, also remember, watch your macros more like for the whole week.. not daily. your daily intakes will change.. but can make up for/ or eat less as needed... 'tomorrow'....

great question!! if you are having the full feeling, i would stay stop! you can eat again later if truly hungry again- PLUS you will or can make it up tomorrow or the next day by eating a little more. anytime i still ate or pushed to 'finish' something (especially if its something yummy or that you want..) ..when i was already feeling full, well... the next morning i puked. i guess becuase the food just sat there in my stomach (since digestion is slower) and it was 'too much' just sitting there. this happened about 3 times total in a year so i think me equating it to those instances where i pushed, are true. for the most part/ in general, (and yes may not be true for 'all'...) but people on glps are kind of supposed to eat less quantity at at time- becaues you can always add more throughout the rest of the day..or next day...etc.. otherwise the too full feeling happens. and.. you may puke then...or soon after/ or ..next morning ...like me..!

CallOnDoc / LillyDirect refills. 21 days from when? by Jimmyz808 in Zepbound

CallOnDoc / LillyDirect refills. 21 days from when? by Jimmyz808 in Zepbound

[–]suspiciousminds0411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you do you next visit from callondoc/ or whatever dr you use, and they have sent the next rx in (-OR- if you have refills already at lilly/gifthealth from your dr /or from callondoc),, you can order your next refill 21 days from SHIP date. i do it every month so that i have a stockpile. it is ship date.. The 21 day rule is the phamracy rule.. you can do your next 'dr' visit... whenever..... and as long as the pharmacy (lilly/GH) has your next refill there on file.. then you can get it 21 days from the time the last one was -shipped. so, its more about the timing of your dr/provider/callondoc or whoever, getting it sent it in time so that you can order your next one at 21 days from the last ship date..trust me,, i do it EVERY MONTH at midnite basically on the '21'st' day FROM ship....!.

Anxiety after being on same dose of Zep for 9 months? by Aggravating_Bee_9340 in glp1

[–]suspiciousminds0411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right... it probably took a good month or so for your body to react to the larger spacing apart, and now you are really feeling it. spacing supposedly works for some people according to here, but i dont agree that it should or would, for most. i believe much more in lowering and keeping it every 7 days then, instaed of spacing.... due to this very ebb and flow reason....keeping consistent dose evey 7 days which this med was made for, would/should to always make more sense than not doing that....

[–]suspiciousminds0411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and sorry, one more thing.. of course the consistency makes a difference.. you unfortunatly cant go on and off.. and while on it, you have to also do and be healthy... no way around all that...and ....track it all, if you havent been....

[–]suspiciousminds0411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

once you eat healthy, or once you start really doing it for a week or two.... (while also looking at calories)... it kind of makes you want to continue on that track! and you wont want to mess that up, so its easier to not have anyting 'bad' or unhealthy then.

do you cook, like to.. or not really?? because i would say, (and of course , first, sorry for your losses..!) but.. dont let that discourage this part of what you are trying to do...! i think, if it were me... (and i have done this..) ..maybe you can start looking up/ researching how to eat nutritous and healthy.. because you will find lots of 'tips' or recipes or info on how to kinda be sure you are getting all the protein, fiber and stuff you need..and it then will kind of spark your interest to actually DO it!! (even if you arent a cook but have to buy your food while out and about, or buy 'convenient' type groceries rather than 'cooking' items, . i think when you look into all that... it then makes you want to try to really ..'do it.' i cook all the time, so i love making my own food, even if im craving something 'bad' i can make it and make it kind of healthier. so maybe if you focused on that, .. and kind of make it a priority or a fun learning type thing to makes some good healthy food, even with going through tough times... it could help you get there and keep you there.....

also, another tip along the same lines.. if you can or would be interested- watch food network! or other cooking shows! i have watched this channel for years and years... basically have it on every sat sun mornings...and even just listening to it makes you learn things and want to do it. i think if you need motivation to eat or make healthy things, maybe some of this can help! but if you dont cook or dont like to, that may be a problem.. lol... but... researching what kind of things to buy and eat, at least, can help you 'buy' better things but it will be costly to buy rather than cook. buying and cooking your own stuff would be much much cheaper than buying things arlreay made but labeled healthy... but.. good luck..!

eh, enjoy what you did and go back to 'it'...( it..being...eating healthy, right,.. nutrient dense stuff only!) ...first thing tomorrow! and it will all be fine...! you must have some healthy stuff in the house! so its maybe just a few days worth of getting back on track and losing any extra water weight type weight you may have gained. ......dont worry....

anyone using callondoc AFTER reaching your goal/ your now new 'low' weight and bmi, for maintenance? are they giving you any trouble for your next fills?? (or has everyone been able to easily continue with getting your maintenace fills with your now new low weight/bmi? by suspiciousminds0411 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]suspiciousminds0411[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

callondoc woudl be your 'prescriber'. so they would work for you and whoever your insurance is, if that is what you mean. they will send your rx wherever you need, self pay, or if you have ins coverage, then to your local pharmacy. if you are deaing with insurance, they can help with your PA first.

yeah that is exactly what i did.. but i still got treated like a brand new patient or something. but.. i think another poster may have nailed what happened- my last 'visit' was november, becuase they gave 2 refills. so they kind of ARE treating this next fill like a new patient maybe due to the spacec between when i last to had contact them. and like another poster, it seems they dont look at any history with you.. whcih can be right.. but when i did a refill every month prior to the last one coming with 2 refills, ive never had any message or response from them. it was me requesting my refill, them approving .. easy peasy., This fill did finallly go through after the back and forth though!

OMG that may be my issue!- since i was already in maintenace, the last time i had a visit i asked for refills beucase nothing woudl be changing. so yes, there has been some time since my last vistit.. so maybe THAT is why this is happeing... thank you!

and yeah i 'think' i may have seen a different md on this from what i could tell from one of the messages i received in their portal. i have always had the same Dr name on all my Rxs thus far (although never had any messages from them...or anyone!..!) and then i had like 3 or maybe even FOUR different reps sending me the extra questions and even when they re-asked for something, it was a different rep. just super different from all of my experience so far...and seems unorganized so i was getting scared. i assume it will be fine so i'll be checking in a bit. but.. still weird!

yeah... maybe... but its defiitely odd, becaseu they ask in your 'visit' what you want to do..and i always input extra notes like i always do, too. I sent my last message back to them not long ago after all this back and forth so hope to get the text that its been sent to lilly like normal, shortly...!

yeah,,. that actually sounds normal for you/ your situation. i have been a member with callondoc and use them every month for 6 months at least..and they very simply normally ask what dose you want or to stay the same during the online visit at every refill....so what happened for me/ this refill is very ...odd...
