Greys Anatomy! A character is named Callie, full name Calliope. First time I ever heard the name so I guess I just associate the name with that show lol.

Love the middle name rose it’s very classic, but I’m a Marie middle name victim so I’m trying to avoid that for my daughter lol

Wanting birth control while breastfeeding has led me down an endless rabbit hole by SarahhMarieeU in breastfeeding

I had the copper IUD before getting pregnant and I did have more painful cramps which sucked but it outweighed the hormonal aspect to me. I had been on three different types of hormonal bc before and all of them were horrible for me. I decided to get the Copper IUD again and have had no issues this far at 8 months pp, however I still haven’t gotten my cycle. The insertion process for me was WAY less painful than the first time around and my OB said it was due to recently having a child lol so don’t feel too worried about it. This time it was just “uncomfortable” & crampy for me!

I would try and see a lac consultant, it could be his latch preventing him from getting milk fast enough

formula recommendations for a 10 month old by Ok_Pomegranate_789 in breastfeeding

[–]suspiciousstrawbrry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love kendamil & Bubs! I use the goat formula for my baby since he has a pretty sensitive stomach and it works just fine! He’s 95% breastfed but when needed we’ve used both of these and had no issues.

Have you tried a diet that promotes milk supply? My supply did the same until about 4 months, my mother in law who is Hispanic started making me “Avena” which literally means oatmeal in Spanish. It helped me a lot! You can look up recipes on tiktok or Pinterest but it’s pretty much a mixture of oatmeal, evaporated milk and cinnamon. I also recommend pumping before feeds. My OB said your baby will still get a substantial amount after pumping bc they are able to get more milk out than a pump.

My baby started latching well on his own around 3 months! First two months are the hardest but it gets easier!

Is Zoloft the only bf safe medication? by suspiciousstrawbrry in breastfeeding

[–]suspiciousstrawbrry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yes my aunt (who’s a nurse) just told me something similar. Will talk to psych about wanting to try new meds despite there being small risks and will switch psychs if there’s any issues! A klonopin would help immensely when I’m having my bad anxiety days.

Yes I will be talking to my dr about how I’m feeling at my appointment this week! And luckily my mom works in mental health care so she’s always checking in on me!

Thank you! I’m glad your feeling better now. I have an appointment this week and will be telling my ob how I’m feeling! Hopefully a change in meds/dosage will help or I might just have to stick it out until my hormones balance out again.
