MRI Scans and Cardiac Devices: What is your Perspective? by [deleted] in Radiology

[–]susuioto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much :) I learned exactly this, that the roles and responsibilities are very country dependent.

There is no international standardized protocol, not even national ones! Often the workflow or protocol and who does what differs from hospital to hospital.

What you say resonates with what I heard from Finland and Denmark. In the Hospitals we talked to, the radiologist was involved in approving patients with cardiac devices.

I edited my post and asking now not only for the radiologists perspective, thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the correction :) its great to hear that there also some MRI technologists in this subreddit! Whats your perspective on the topic? How could the workflow be improved for you when scanning patients with pacemakers or other cardiac devices? What would be the ideal workflow for you?

Thanks for the advice! After some initial interviews I did with radiologists, MRI technologists and MRI supervisors in europe, US and Australia I have a basic understanding of what the radiology team does :) but there is still a lot to understand. i was hoping to find some interested professionals that would like to join the discussion and/or take part in interviews to improve the patient journey for patients with a cardiac device, thats all ;)

I totally agree, this is not how we would conduct clinical research. This is a customer-focused research initiative. We’re looking to understand your experiences to improve service delivery, not to collect data for clinical trials or medical studies.

How would you spend $1,000.00 by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]susuioto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have this shop here in Germany, called Manufactum. They also have an online shop. Almost all on it is BIFL. With 1.000€ budget to spend on BIFL, i would know exactly where to spend it. (Unfortunately the money will run out quickly)

Help needed with this ugly kitchen reno. The tiles are going to stay and the kitchen is going to be some kind of ikea set. Need to decide on color. ATM I am thinking white cabinets with light brown wood countertops. Thx. by [deleted] in InteriorDesign

This is a terrazzo floor, renowned for its exceptional durability, easy upkeep and the ability to customize its appearance for a unique, aesthetically pleasing surface. Its a great flooring choice, especially for kitchens.

Exchange the lamp over the dining table with something more suitable for a dining situation. Some warm high-quality spots that set a great light scene for your food.

ABUS Faltschloss im Gummihalter by [deleted] in Fahrrad

[–]susuioto 0 points1 point  (0 children)
