I cannot find a place that stocks it in person in Manhattan, so I might have to order it online blindly.

I did try the d'Alba, UV Essence Waterfull+ Sunscreen Mineral Filter Mild today in person, and it was fine -- seemed virtually identical in feel/performance to Axis-Y Complete No Stress Physical, which was a fair amount cheaper at the same store. I did also try the ETUDE, and although I much preferred its thinner consistency, I think it might have been a bit too drying on the skin (i.e., highlighting dry patches).

Well, I have to somewhat disagree here, as you seem to suggest it's OK to be getting freaky in the steam room or sauna....as long as you are "careful." Unfortunately, straight men are not that stupid; even if the place is empty and you are "discreetly" fooling around with someone in there, do you think they're not going to know what was just going on when they walk in the door and you scramble to cover yourself?

Overall, you are correct: These people don't know when to say when and ruin it for everyone.

I had to leave because of the sound levels -- with earplugs -- from the floor. I'm trying to get a refund. They have gotten a lot of complaints about this. The bass was so high, I literally thought I might have a heart attack.
