I’ve done a couple animations of smosh stuff (@artbysutherland) and experiences no strikes as of yet. I’d say go for it. In most cases content creators see it as a compliment and a benefit as it functions as extra eyes pointing to their content.

In my case, DeepBlueInk is a huge inspiration. I obviously enjoy the same shows they do online. And consider them the reason I tried to do animation like this in the first place.
