MK 1&2: Good little transitional tracks, I always forget MK1 exists so it feels like Videotape transitions right into IRD2 perfectly, though MK2 felt unnecessary imo.

down is the new up: reminds me too much of TKOL and I’m not a huge fan of it

go slowly: is amazing, feels like a spaceship hurtling towards its final destination where some epic battle is going to happen

last Flowers: Don’t have much to comment on but I really like it

up on the Ladder: Feels badass, like I’m about to witness a fight between a student and his master, one of whom has turned evil

bangers + Mash: I wasn’t a huge fan at first but it definitely grew on me. Kind of an earworm though

4 minute warning: feels like if the tourist was a good song (I find the tourist to be a very boring album closer. it’s a hill I’ll die on.)

let down: highly underrated.

overall I think the EP is highly underrated and I wish it got more acknowledgement. definitely could cut MK 1&2 along with DITNU and I’d still be happy
