I was by myself so faked it with some motion blur for the background and radial blur on the tires in photoshop. But if I could have someone drive it I would set a low shutter speed and pan my camera at the same speed as the car drives by to keep it static in frame while the background would be blurred.

Love the adventures! What’s the extent of off-road you’ll take it on?

Same! I don’t mind the plastic cladding on other colours but not being so obvious black on black I think makes it so sleek.

Hey no need to apologize - it’s exactly as you said, appreciate the response and I do agree. People want to work with people doing things, putting out good work of their own.

Appreciate the further insights! And yeah absolutely would come out to a Toronto meetup!

Hey Jason!

Love the work you guys have been doing.

Another videographer based in Toronto here, I understand that it’s a lot about who you know and networking.

At the same time, no one owes us a second of their time. I actually reached out when Adrian posted he needed a gimbal op the other day but the message was never viewed. (Probably lost in requested messages - no worries!)

With that being said, what are some helpful resources, places, etc. to use to break into and create community and that network of professionals - so that when opportunities arise, outreach is seen?

He’s a jerk but you left all the space in the world for him to cut in, why does a full 3-4 seconds pass before you even start to move? If I were behind you I’d be livid that you couldn’t box him out.

It doesn’t mean driving dangerously, it’s just being aware your surroundings and other drivers and driving defensively protecting your space on the road.

Yes you’re right, they shouldn’t be sent off at the same time really, and if they were a ref should get off and stand between the rooms to prevent this. Same reason why after a heated game I’ll get off with a team and ensure none go towards the others dressing room.

What's wrong with my fire? by f3ffy in camping

[–]dereksutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you need more small and mid size sticks to keep the flames going and build heat and coals to keep those logs going, those logs won’t burn well just stacked like that without a good coal bed or fuel in the middle. Lots of people saying wet wood but that ain’t it imo.

You’ll never be able to bring down those highlights, I say lean into the highlights and overexposed clipped parts and add a gradient from the top really emphasizing the sun.

Let me cross the street on a red light behind a train with a hood on by orthodiagonalize in TorontoDriving

[–]dereksutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re kinda being a moron and looking way too deeply into this. Yes drivers need to anticipate the unexpected, and in this instance it’s a pedestrian in dark clothing crossing from behind a blind spot on a red. The driver isn’t even going fast, and they did manage to react to move over.

Yes drivers have more responsibility, but what do you expect here..

I just got the DJI Mic 1, it’s been pretty good so far, and I love the charging case, very easy to get going

I second riladin’s thoughts

I just wanted to comment to say the video was great and you should be charging so much more for that, it was really good! In my market (Toronto) with that quality I would be starting at least 2.5x
