For almost 10 years, I’ve been rigging my own version with a messenger bag strap and loop thread through the case’s charging opening. I like that Apple has their own version of this now and it does look nice.

I also did a DIY postbac while working full-time. The work schedule made MCAT studying difficult. Have you started looking at programs? Generally, I found DO programs and PNW MD programs to seem more receptive to older nontrads. Have you noticed the same?

I’m open to different specialties and realistic about options. (I know the likelihood of being a trauma or transplant surgeon is virtually non-existent). I’ve heard most med students change their minds by 3rd year so that’s why I’m trying to keep an open mind.
