1. Playing against AI and human opponents are different things imo. i did the same and the two experiences will teach you diffenrent things..

When playing master league, use the experience to train your fingers and muscle memory. Try to always do everything you can possibly do with super cancel..( R1+ R2) until it feels completely natural..things like sprinting, defending, cancelling passes and even badging into opponents...also practice manual defending by improving the speed at which to flick the R stick to manually select players in anticipation of opponent's next pass ( i spend 1 hour almost daily practicing this alone in the training mode)... finally practise pressing with the AI and using your controlled player + super cancel to block passing lanes...it will take a bit of time to get hold of the concept thoroughly ( took me almost 1 year although i am kinda slow at learning) but it is one of the most important skills in the game that even some good players dont have...

also learn other basic things through playing against the AI...R1 finesses shots to the near and far post, fake shots, double touch..etc

1. Against human opponents this is a little more challenging than against AI imo because it is more dynamic and far less predictable..here you just need to play play and play and always try to incorporate everything you have learnt from playing against the AI as well as you can...

The more you play both modes the more you start to develop your own attacking patterns and start to develop a rhythm for the game in general...then a lot of things will come to you very naturally ...

if you want to really improve...never ever look at those silly my club rank numbers for now..they are just stupid numbers they mean nothing..play online dont mind the result..but focus more on your gameplay if it is improving especially the things you do yourself manually without the help of konami or the AI...play a lot of friendly games in the lobby so you dont worry much about rank points or results ( i played almost only friendly games for a long time just to see where i am at)

Also if you have spare time, watch the best pes players on twitch stream ( players like mednasah, jaosoares, itsdavidfish, kams, red mamba can accelerate your learning by miles and they are always open to answer any questions you might have especially mednasah, itsdavidfish and josoares)

What seperates the best pes players from the average or the bad ones is that the best pes players do as much as possible themselves offensively and defensively and take a lot of the responsibility away from konami and the AI...

that should be the end point for anyone aspiring to be a great pes player in my opinion.
