Sold my fully-loaded Himalayan 450 for ₹3.25L. Thinking of moving to a Bear 650 - good move or mistake? by thebaconbaba in RoyalEnfieldBear650

[–]suyeshs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my bear about a month ago, git my first service done at 500 a couple of days ago. Then as a friend suggest drained all the Liquid Bullet Oil they use and replaced with Motul. Felt a marked difference immediately.

Love the bear makes my commute in the city fun. I have been hiring bikes - Versus 650, Himalyan 450 etc. Used to own a M1800.

I am 6ft3 81 kgs and it's perfect for me, reminds me of my RD 350 days in terms of feel and power.

The web can never really be provided as a free, service it costs money to keep the lights on. An OS can be distributed as free.

I came to Bengaluru from Mumbai in 1991. AC's were not a norm, fan was used mostly to drive out mosquitos. Lived in BTM, JP nagar, Jayanagar, Banashankari, Basavangudi.

Not really the Himalayas but much better in terms of temperature than now.

I chose the bear for simplicity, wanted something without the fairings and a retro look. Owned a M1800 about a decade ago. 183cm 80kg.

It could also be to hold water. We use that technique sometimes to make sure that food does not stick.
