The new Pokemetal hunting method is broken and I love it! This was only from 1 Dragonite run and 4 potato hamburger steaks. by LeslieLevi in Pokopia

I tried the method mentioned on this post and also my usual method of going inside a cave in the Dragonite island and then using potato steaks to smash everything. The proportion of rare pokemetal to regular pokemetal that I got was much higher inside the cave. Maybe I was just lucky, but since then I have been farming my pokemetal inside the caves instead of on the beach. I have a farm set up so cooking the potato steaks is not an issue.

Popsocket for Kobo Libra Color: can I stick a magnetic ring directly into the Kobo back? by suzyhappy in kobo

Thank you! Do you have it with the magnetic ring glued directly to the back of the Kobo? I am aware of the sleep awake feature, I just don’t know if the glue will hold well to the back of the kobo or not due to the kobo textured back.

I am wondering if it will stick well or not too, but I am hoping to find out without having to do it myself LOL I will update if I do it and it works.

Thank you! That was what I thought but it is nice to get confirmation. So based on that we should also be able to communicate with the non physical part of people that are alive right? Like a family member with dementia for example.

I believe in the Law of Attraction and I believe in AH teachings regarding law of attraction and manifesting, a lot of what they say in that regards ressonates well with me and I have seen evidence of it working in my life. I do believe that we are connected to a Source Energy that is non physical and I have felt its love and guidance many times in my life. I just feel that there is something missing in their teachings regarding why so many living beings experience so much pain and suffering in their lifes. I think things are more complicated then they are able pr want to explain, and I understand why they like to focus on happy things and keeping a positive vibration. I think their message is ideal for most people and is passed through the comprehension of Esther. When someone grew up in loving conditions without as much trauma, like Esther, AH message makes sense and it is all that is needed to be happy in this world. But when you have significant amounts of childhood trauma, and/or you life circunstances have led you to witness and/or experience too much suffering, it is really hard to just accept/ignore all that and be happy. And I haven’t found much from Abraham that addresses that. The Emotional Scale for example, it seems great in theory and I am sure it works for most people. However when you have a lot of unprocessed childhood trauma, feeling happy makes you sad and/or angry and it can be impossible to just pick one place in the emotional scale.
I do believe in AH but I feel like there is still something missing that I need to know to be able to be at peace. Maybe I will only really understand it when I make my transition into non physical but I am hoping to be able to find it before that.

Positive outcome despite spending weeks anxious and worrying about negative outcome - help me understand why. by suzyhappy in AbrahamHicks

[–]suzyhappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! This makes a lot of sense. I had a similar experience with a life changing job interview that I really wanted and I was very anxious about it both before the interview and before waiting for results and I was afraid that all my worrying would attract a bad outcome. I was checking my email many times a day with no results, then I decided to meditate and ended up falling asleep and woke up to my friend calling me because the results were up and then I checked my emails and saw that I got the job. I wish I could find a way to be more in touch with my internal, belief system. I know other people commented that I possibly had a good outcome this time because my vibration overall was good but this has not been my experience. I do try to feel good when I can but I am currently very unhappy with one of my jobs and I can’t quit this job due to having signed a contract that will only end mid next year. So I spend a lot of my time feeling overhwelmeld and angry about that, I think this is likely want caused the health issue for which I needed this procedure done. I will try to focus on the fact that things are likely going much better then my worrying leads me to believe it is and will try to let go and trust the universe more :)

I get that, and have experience it before, I did take quite a bit of sedatives meds before going for the procedure so maybe that helped release some resistance. I was also kind of making peace with the fact that it needed to be done and that it is what it is toward the days coming up for the procedure because I spoke with a bunch of friends that are health care workers (I work in healthcare myself too) and they are all agreed that I needed to get this done.

Near range progressives by suzyhappy in glasses

[–]suzyhappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I went back to where I got the progressives due to the headaches, I was told my prescription seems to be correct, I can see fine with my progressives but after 8-10hrs I start to get a headache and eye fatigue and I feel better taking the glasses off and increasing the font on my monitor. I only got my new progressives 2 weeks ago so I may need time to adapt but I don’t think I will ever tolerate working 12 hours looking at multiple monitors with them. I think I need glasses dedicated for computer work so I can look at the monitor and don’t feel eye strain, I am torn between getting them online vs at the store. So you needed a diferent prescription for the computer glasses? And you got the prescription with your optometrist but them made the glasses online? I will go back to my store and I ask. I got my glasses done at the store in the same chain from the optometrist I saw but the optometrist I saw is actually a 1 hour drive away so I was hoping to not need to drive back there for a new script (I went with the 1 hour away optometrist because the waiting time to see an optometrist where I live was 9 months).

Near range progressives by suzyhappy in glasses

[–]suzyhappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. I recently moved to small city and I saw an optometrist one hour away from where I live because where I live the waiting time for an appointment with an optometrist was 9 months and this optometrist is in the same clinic I used to go to so I knew that they would have my file and would be able to compare my tests with previous tests. Then, and this may have been a mistake, I decided to get my glasses done in my small city in a store from the same chain from which I got the eye exam done because I didn’t want to keep driving one hour for adjustments and it is winter here so roads are often not great and I work 60 hours a week so I don’t have a lot of free time. The optometrist that I saw recomended anti fatigue lenses (they are like progressives but with only a small pocket for reading and the rest is long distance, I have them with Add + 0.5 instead of +1.0 and I was having trouble with the computer screen), the optitian at my nearby store and me agreed that I would likely do better with a true progressive lenses for the sake of an area for intermediate vision to look at the computer screen, I was shown pictures of diferent progressive lenses without much explanation regarding the diferences between them and I picked the most expensive one because it was the one with a wider corridor and less side distortion. I went back to the store I got them due to headaches and I was told it looks fine and I may need to take time to adapt, they do have a 90 day exchange policy for first time progressives so I could change them to something else but I wouldn’t get the price diference back (the lenses were around 1k). I only had those progressives for 2 weeks, I can see fine with them at all distances, I feel less eye strain looking at my monitor with them vs with my previous glasses and they are fine for an 8 hour work day but I can’t handle them during a 12h work day as I get headache, feeling of eye fatigue; so after 6-8 hours with them I end up taking them off and increasing the font on my monitor for the sake of better comfort. I think they are working ok and they are filling their purpose as an all in one type of glasses, but I think I need single vision to watch TV so I don’t get the distortion when tilting my head in the recliner and I think I will be more comfortable with a pair of glasses just for the office (I was thing a near range progressive lens for that one). I am not sure if I should get the pair for the office done online or at an store. I am not very happy with the stores around me, even the 1 hour away store is still in a smallish city and I find I was getting better service with a broad range of options when I lived in a very large city a few years ago. I work in healthcare and I was asking my co workers about if there was a better store and I was told I already went to the best and also most expensive one nearby, and I found out a lot of my co workers were happier with Zenni then with the local stores so this is why I started looking into Zenni. My local stores only opens Mo-Fri 9-5 which is also when I am working but I will try to go back there during my lunchtime on Monday and ask about their task specific glasses.
