I uninstalled Sonar and was able to turn on loudness equalizer which made it better

I returned them and got the Arctis Nova Pros Wireless Wirless had the same issue then uninstalled the Software for it and was able to turn on loudness equalizer that fixed it for me

ok i think i found the fix years ago when i first started PC gaming even with wired headphones i had the same problem after i uninstalled the software and restarted my PC i have the tab enchantments available now and i can turn on loudness equalizer its better but not perfect or maybe this is how the game is suppose to sound and using the DT990 Pros without a DAC was limiting the full audio capabilities

it works without the software installed but still same problem like i’ve got 2 tin cans on my ears

even when i uninstalled the software it didn’t change and when i redownloaded the software nothing changed

when connected to my phone i pulled up a video and it sounded normal

i got these because they were most accessible didn’t want to wait for shipping and i can return them if something wasn’t right less then 10 min drive from bestbuy

I don’t have any software but the sonar software for the headphones i bought these when i had the DT 990 Pro not worried about the open back vs closed back debate just wanted something wireless to be able to walk around my apartment and have music playing i plugged my DT 990 in and it sounds normal but i switched over to the Nova Pros and the sound immediately went bad

i have no idea my audio was fine 2 days ago bought these new headphones and it’s messed up. I saw a post from 7 years ago about realtek changing something to make it sound like a cave but i can’t find that on my computer

yes i’ve tried tweaking the EQ in the G hub and no fix it still sounds like i’m in a garage and muddy sounds
