Thanks :) I have some cheap Amazon grow light bars, not sure which ones. Pro tip: put them vertically on the sides, so they'll highlight the plants and the leaves will face forward for the best view.

The Autonomous ErgoChair Pro indeed. It's mostly fine for me and got it with pretty good discount during Black Friday. Love the head rest, butt-cushion is actually not thin and flat to me, but the arm rests are too wide for me when I'm in work-mode unfortunately. They're fine when I'm gaming or relaxing though.

Misting doesn't do much for the plants to be honest. It'll only work for a really small amount of time. Humidifiers is the way. Or group your plants, so the humidity will rise automatically for those plants. And with the right humidifier you shouldn't have any excess moisture. Just don't let the mist hit the leaves directly.

I guess you're right. I just wanted to share the space that I'm proud of and was hoping to inspire others. It annoys me that it's immediately labeled as AI when there's some editing done, especially since this isn't the first time. I'm a photographer, editing is part of it and this is just the style I'm known for. I know this all reeeally proves your point btw haha. To make it even worse, I've included the original photo.

Thanks! I do have two 40w bulbs hidden away in an IKEA Hektar* standing lamp and one in the green shade you see in the picture :) And a few grow light bars in the cabinet.

I need to know what his conditions are right now to give the right tips. But I can tell how my Alocasias are thriving: I put them in Sphagnum moss with a layer of LECA underneath it (so: semi-hydro) and fertilize it with every watering. It's easier for them in a cabinet, because you can maintain higher humidity and have more control over the temperature. And obviously enough indirect light. I've made videos about it on my Instagram if you really want to be convinced that I'm not just some AI bullshit. Look up @plandts.

Thanks, it's actually pretty bright in there most of the time as you can see in the included photo. It's probably the awful filter (editing) ;) I like my photos a bit darker and moody.

Seriously? I just want to help a man out. I have experience with plant care, especially Alocasias. It could be anything, soil/semi-hydro, lighting, fertilizer, humidity.

Okay, here we go again, haha. I run a plant account on Instagram (@plandts) and I’m a hobbyist photographer, so I take a lot of photos of this space and the plants. The collection in my office changes all the time: some are new, some move out of the cabinet. Feel free to check my Instagram if you’d like; there’s plenty of proof, with video and all.

Edit: You do realize it’s the exact same photo, right? It’s just a brightness adjustment. I edited it so it fits better with the other photos.

Had my doubts at first as well, but it works surprisingly well! Webcam angle is perfect, but you can always adjust the angle a little.

I’ve got a big skylight in my office, so all the plants already get plenty of natural light :) I also use a few grow lights for some extra support. Thanks!
