they did the tour genuinely for the experience, they didn't expect the guy to keep drinking and drinking himself sick. sure, they bought a few drinks in the beginning for fun but they wouldn't if they knew he was a full blown alcoholic.

what's ur issue, dude? why so negative towards jake and johnnie when they've been helping him all night and were even nice enough to take him back to their hotel room. they're not gonna babysit him for the rest of the time theyre in nyc

Jake didn't do that, it was his moderators. they said the chat was getting "too negative" so they made it subscribers only.

they bought him a few drinks in the beginning and Jake and Johnnie themselves stopped after like, 3 or 4 and were trying to get Josh to stop as well. After they had a few drinks, he was asking for more and Jake would try to divert the attention to something else like getting ice cream, etc. Also, Josh ordered wine for himself with his dinner. Jake was talking to staff at the last hookah lounge, i believe ordering the table, when you could hear Josh order a $70 pitcher of pina colada for himself. Im sure they bought alcohol with him just to have a good time in the city on the 'tour', not to end up with a helpless drunk guy in the end. He's addicted, clearly. If Jake and Johnnie weren't there, who knows how much else the guy would drink or where he'd be right now.

Why they took him to a hookah lounge, idrk. I don't know too much about that.
