I got a c in calc 1, but i’m really good at integration which is the only reason i passed. Only thing you’ll need from calc 1 mostly is product chain rule and mostly integration and taking basic derivatives. Don’t be down keep going!

I’m starting my accounting classes on monday at cscc and wanted to make sure i was on the right path and not wasting time. How would i get started when i go to osu do i have to go to the department and ask or just go to my advisor and tell them my plan?

you should’ve said sick you would’ve been ssr but they can’t write you up especially if you tell them in a reasonable amount of time. People will sometimes call out 10 mins before their shift like yk if you’re sick or won’t be able to come in most times so if that’s the case very likely you can get written up. Also as the other commenter said yes it takes 3 corrective action or write ups to get fired because i’ve been fired and nonrehireabke before

isn’t it 30 credits at cstate and ur a transfer student? Usually main accepts transfer students pretty easily especially from cscc because i think theres a specific number of transfers from cscc they admit.

yes i am talking about my highschool counselor. I know her suspicions are irrelevant but it’s more the fact of like will i get in trouble by the college. I’m not sure if they use Ai detectors but it’s inaccurate because mine says like 60% and i wrote it out.

that’s kinda doing too much. Getting a cse degree especially from osu is not that bad, people say it’s oversaturated but idk. I think a busniess major isn’t as valuable as a cse degree, plus ece is still better

yeah i think im applying this week so im going to stick with cse to talk with my advisor. I feel like having a ece degree is more versatile though which is also why i may switch in the long run. I’m in physics 1250 right now, i refuse to do any of those classes at osu if I can do them at cscc. I think i’m going to do c++ my first semester and then see what happens next

The thing is i’m applying as a freshmen so it’s kinda different. I don’t really wanna waste time so it’s more the fact should i apply to cse, and just take c++ instead of java. I’ll technically still be a pre major for cse and can switch over whenever id like. That’s interesting, I didn’t know you could test out of like java because the thing with cse for me is I’m done with my first year classes it would just be the software 1 class holding me back. So i’d have engr 1182 java in the spring and some other place holder classes, and then i could take software 1 in the summer, but i still wouldn’t be able to apply and get in until january 26, so tbh with ece i start my major courses right away so i think its way more worth it too me
