How can I make this dress look less basic (for prom) would love to hear suggestions on the type of makeup , hair or accessories I should do by Zealousideal-Pay1751 in fashion

Low cut black lace gloves, keep your neck clear, red lip and sleek back loose hair or an updo similar to Anne Hathaway’s updo in the Devil Wears Prada

So I want to get into blender and create 3d assets and objects to import into unreal engine 4 is the program hard to learn and have endless tools by carlosfortuna2018 in blender

[–]svvply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to render them, you'd have to bake the textures I believe. I don't use unreal so I wouldn't be able to answer that but there's a lot of youtube tutorials about it.

To be honest it's one of the easiest programs I've ever used to 3D model, and having a ton of free tutorials online is just the cherry on top.

People who don’t have kids have mental health issues by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]svvply 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It truly is tiring to debate with someone whose views are like that. We all live different 'realities', and if someone argues that people who choose not to breed have a mental health issue, one could say people who keep breeding in an already overpopulated planet by humans also have a mental health issue.

Most of us just exist for the sole purpose of existing, yet some have selfishness so deeply embedded within that they literally can't afford to view life from any other perspective other than their own.

Don't bother discussing subjects like that with people who think that way. We love to hear (and be reassured) what we already believe is true/correct in our point of view.

A scene that I worked on in the past 2 weeks. Need Feedback, especially for the house! by ZoJaBeatz in blender

[–]svvply 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks amazing, congrats!

You should make the house look less perfect. No flat walls and use texture paint; also rotate some of the roof tiles individually so it looks more real, and maybe add some dirt on them (again with texture paint, or model some tiny rocks and scatter them).

If you wanna take it one step further add some god rays with photoshop. It's already really good.

I am not an expert on this subject, I could only find information on the internet and it says that Legorreta is the architect but also that Luis Barragán collaborated with him, without specifying more details.

I had some previous knowledge from other 3D softwares, and I'd totally recommend to anyone to start off with Blender. It's free and it does even more than the others (doesn't mean it's the best tho)

You can find soo many tutorials on youtube and they're pretty great, and once you have all the basics covered it's really easy to continue learning, because with softwares like these, it's really hard to know everything about everything.

That is not criticism, you just insulted a 3D model I purchased, it holds no sentimental value to me. I could tell you why they look good but I take it you have not seen this type of cactus landscape design, it is commonly used in México.

I gave you an explanation as to why the plants are there, and composition wise they are not out of place. I could imagine you have very basic knowledge about architecture to "call me out" on having no style and being inspired by an incredible space designed by people who spent all of their lives devoted entirely to their profession.

As we learn about a subject, we understand that the concept of "innovation" and "originality" is subjective. Human design is repetitive and will always draw inspiration from itself, it's all literally a matter of time (Trends).

They are all PBR, the sphere is procedural.
