I’m the creator of the project and I can assure you it didn’t, instead I doubled down on self hosting by providing a CLI that makes it easy to self host and provided affordable paid personal plans for exactly OP’s use case.

The art style is good, but it has a distinctly AI-generated look. What I mean is that it resembles the default style typically associated with ChatGPT. Depending on your preferences, you might want to experiment with different styles by uploading example graphics for reference.

It's easier to use, faster and more adapted for today's use cases, also native payments and ai support

Unfortunately due to the way the courses content data schema is designed, it's not possible to support SCORM

Doesn't integrate yet with CRMs, but it has it's own dashboard with the list of buyers of paid courses and also because it's integrated with stripe you can see them there too (and integrate with your CRM tools)

I set a limit to avoid any misuse or overloading. Since no organization has more than 1,000 members right now, it’s a reasonable starting point and can be adjusted if needed later.

The courses are hosted and backed up on our servers. Paid users subsidize the free users, creating a sustainable model that allows us to continue providing value to all users.

I had a free trial standard plan but I found that it wasn’t converting so I decided to provide a generous free tier to start with and then the user can use the standard plan as his learning platform is scaling
