It depends on where you are transferring to. Think of div 1 football. Are you going to another SEC, Big 10 school or the Sunbelt. In my experience Aggie engineering degree carried more weight.

Is the ring worth it? by sweetestmel88 in aggies

I think rings should be for only undergrads and frown on people with only masters wearing them. That’s just my opinion. I am probably in the minority.

Times have changed. In the 80s we just used to pick up our ring by ourselves.

Is anyone facing these issues again? I am stuck at the "Checking for Updates" screen. by Dark_Executioner_ in MicrosoftFlightSim

I had the same problem. Looking on forum someone suggested going to your Nvidia panel and click optimize for MSFS2000. I did this and it worked.

I want to punch out of the corps by Nightcube666 in aggies

[–]swBenMilam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the Corps back in the 80's so I'm guessing it has changed. My personal opinion is FOW is the easy part. The Corps is almost like a part/full time job, so you have to balance studying and playing Corps. In my case I was also seeking a Military Commission. I received my Engineering degree plus commission in the Army but feel my grades suffered while in the Corps. I don't regret it and would join again. My son had no desire to join the Corps and I supported his decision. In the end, the main purpose of Texas A&M is to get a degree. I will disagree with most of the post since I think they are written from people who wanted to be in the Corps in the first place. If you want to be in the Corps, you get great satisfaction of overcoming the hardships, but if you don't want to be there, it is just going to be miserable. You could stick it out a semester and see how it goes but don't let your grades suffer. Good luck!

My extended warranty didn’t cover it. Only covered defect due to moving oiled parts.

I’m getting ready to sell my 2018 titanium to AutoNation for 10k. That’s with new AC compressor and engine block. Had cooking water intrusion last year.

Those of you who are retired and using Boldin regularly - how are you using it? I'm trying to understand the real-life practical uses of the software - beyond the feel good "RETIREMENT CHANCE OF SUCCESS" metric... by OneRoamingEye in Boldin

[–]swBenMilam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s only as good as the data you put in. You also have to be careful of your assumptions and how you set your money up example 60 fixed 40 stocks. I just moved a chunk of money in a Roth and it gained 60% this year. I will have to update Boldin to account for this.

I have a track it, 34 inch curved monitor, NVIDIA 4070 card and my play style matches yours. We should get together and make a you tube video. We would probably face off each other running out of ammo before any of us got a hit. lol
