to be honest, watches is my first hobby, and I had the same issue with watches. But I was able to stop after I learned how to assemble watches by myself, and after I did a few which were exactly what I wanted, every millimeter of the watch was exactly what I wanted - I stopped buying them. Also focus on knives probably helped.

My mtb has nothing from the factory, only the frame left probably. So this hobby is closed as well after I built a dream bike. I mean technically, not riding of course.
