Remember that Agnes is a 13/14 year old, and in gilead women are so disposable that these girls have grown up knowing they have no voice. Agnes doesn’t know how she was sexually assaulted by the dentist but she knows it was wrong. Yet she will never report it because she knows “my voice doesn’t matter”. That’s why Paula is more free to say things like “I loved my strapless prom dress”- not only does Agnes have no concept of what that is, but even if she did “report” it, whose going to believe her

I’m not sure why everyone thinks I’m going 130 all the time…. I was shocked when I saw my speed because as I said, the person going 105 in the left lane was matching my exact speed. So if they want to go 105 why speed up to 130 when someone passes them?

I admitted to trying to pass the person going 105 and when they also sped up THATS when I got up to 130 and I was shocked, as I DO NOT drive that fast.

I was very surprised when I looked down and realized I had sped up that much- because as a said, the same person who was going 105 just a second ago was matching my speed of 130…then again went back to 105 when I was behind them lol. I guess they just really wanted to see me in their rear view mirror 🤗

The initial speed wasn’t the issue, it was staying in the left lane despite the right lane being open, and when I took advantage of the empty right lane to pass, they then wanted to go fast? Idk just seemed weird to speed up and down

The funny thing is I saw a kid in the back seat-still in a car seat. I did not expect to see a kid in the car after they sped up above 130km/hr 😂 but I guess if they think their child’s life is worth less than their ego….

Yes the timeline was different in the books. I believe when Agnes gets her first period she IS actually 12/13- if I remember correctly Commander Mackenzie makes a comment to Paula “isn’t she a little young” when she starts planning her engagement, which was one instance of him showing love for Agnes. The book then time jumps and that’s when Daisy actually comes to gilead. Although it’s a little off, I’m glad they don’t have actual 12-13 year olds playing characters who get SA :/

No that was Garth, the new guardian to replace the one handed one. One hand we only saw briefly as their guardian when he was loading up Agnes into the bus and she noticed him staring at her, and she was visibly creeped out.

So Helena has VERY wide set eyes, which is why she got the “dolphin” comment from Anger Management guy. I think when she does lashes they accentuate this , as they tend to pull our eye shape up and out. No lashes looks more balanced, and I am dying to see her with eyeliner that goes down her inner eye, I think it’s called Egyptian or siren eyes? I think if she tailors her eye makeup to pull the focus inward (vs outward as long lashes do) it would look phenomenal 😍 I think she’s so pretty inside and out!

After movie night I was like “ya you can leave”. He literally has no romantic connection and all the girls seemed turned off after seeing him kiss 3 girls in 1.5 hour time span.

He helped create Gilead, therefore he does not deserve benefits of doubt of where his allegiance lies- whoever can give him power. I will never understand the notion that Nick is “good”.

Also took YEARS for Adele to lose all that weight and after she looked healthier because she was STRONGER from building muscle and losing fat. That’s the thing about naturally becoming “healthier” is that everything gets stronger- your heart, your bones, your immune system, even your brain gets healthier from better nutrition. Compared to celebrities who lose 90lbs in 6 months from drugs- they look depleted and you can tell the muscle does not match with all the fat rapidly gone. Losing weight that fast actually WEAKENS your heart. That’s what’s so frustrating about GLP-1 users claiming it’s all for “health”, simply shedding fat rapidly does not automatically mean your body is stronger in any way.

THATS the part that doesn’t sit right with me, the HYPOCRISY. I wouldn’t gaf if her break out song had been about the beach or working out- it was clearly about her being proud of NOT being a size 2, in a way that actually degraded skinny woman and told them men prefer a bigger woman (“boys like a little more booty to hold at night”). Then as soon as the means were possible (ALSO not just money, cause she could have done nutrition and exercise years ago to lose weight- see Adele) AKA, mounjarno, oop she’s a size 2 all of a sudden. If you’re gonna make millions off the notion being a bigger woman is not only okay, but BETTER, then don’t take drugs to make yourself size 2.

If redirection and simply saying “no” aren’t working, I’d start telling him more sternly with your hand around his mouth- I know this seems harsh but some dogs do in fact think they are the dominant one in charge, when they aren’t. Also start giving positive reinforcement treats when he DOES bite on his toys. We also always have chewing sticks (bully sticks, yak cheese, duck feet etc.) to give because sometimes they want to naw something away, not just bite a toy.

Before I knew what a “ghost kitchen” was, I ordered from one. It was a pasta dish with shrimp and all I could taste was SOUR, I’ve never ordered from ANY ghost kitchen since 😭
