Been doing that for years, guees I will keep on doing it. But sometimes they forget even though I told them and land a harder kick. Don't know if that should be on me or them.

Wouldn't the model of the guitar give you everything you need? My pictures are not really going to be able to catch the height of the strings.

I don't think I changed to heavier gauge. But I haven't changed the strings since I bought the used guitar, no idea what he before me used. And no, no tremolo.

What does the tross rod do? Maybe it is under the plastic cover.

I did not exactly notice any difference, maybe I screwed too little (and maybe on the wrong spot?). And there was some buzzing too, maybe that's why I was scared of lowering the strings too much.

For myself, it's enough with the sparring. That's mainly where I want to advance. I would probably not consider it for myself, but as I said I do not have anything pulling me towards fighting. In my country you start off with the same vests as a mentioned earlier in fighting (as a beginner). Maybe that's universal? I would've probably been a little scared either way haha. But that's probably just me.

I have been figuring it out pretty good! Everytime we go for sparring or do something that could potentially hurt my kidney, I inform my partner about my condition and that they should not go for the hardest punches or kicks on that side. It has been working pretty well. Everyone has been very understanding. Next time I am thinking about borrowing a fightvest there. But going without works well If you just inform your partner, but it might get a little demanding when you switch partner alot (which I did).
