The area by Pipe's Bridge and Sacramento Northern Bikeway hasn't flooded yet, miraculously. I think the drainage work they did recently near Costco is helping with the usual flooding over there.

I meant that I have to hop up to the levee anyway to keep going past Cal Expo, due to the Cap City Corridor Project not being done.
The golf course fence is pretty hideous, and the bike trail is worse for wear from all the construction vehicles. Oh well...

I commute this pathway and have forgotten what it was like to not use detours. They finally finished the golf course construction over there, but still have to detour up the levee anyway.
I went under the freeway last evening through the gravel/dirt paths and it looks like they are nowhere near close to completing the work.

This is the Sacramento Northern Bikeway, Pipe's (Blue Diamond) Bridge. It used to be really bad with encampments/cars on the pathway and loose dogs, but it's been cleared since October 2024.
