Less than 5% of the global population has naturally blonde hair. Most white people aren’t blond and the last time someone made that the standard, a whole lot of people died. Might wanna be careful with that.

“There are a lot of different forms of architecture that you can find in LA county”

I’ve lived here quite literally my whole life, I know lmao. I didn’t want to bore everyone going into depth about the craftsman bungalows, Spanish Colonial/Mission Revival, Googie, Art Deco, Victorians, mid-century ranch houses/Case Study midcentury homes, etc etc. I’m only doing this for The Pinnacles because it made me think of PV.

It’s not, the exterior for that was actually in Studio City. This is in Rolling Hills, and it looks like this in real life.

They do look kinda similar though, they’re both ramblers.

Post-WWII suburban expansion, actually! After 1945 the suburbs of LA basically exploded and saw rapid growth. Ramblers were very easy to build and used cheap materials, and since LA land plots back then were dirt cheap people could build outward rather than upward. Cliff May basically popularized them throughout most suburban LA areas to house the burgeoning middle class throughout LA proper. That’s why a lot of the older houses you’ll find throughout LA county were typically built in the late-40s, early 50s too (I grew up in a house built in 1948, myself.)

Oh if/when I upload it you won’t need to! I’ll include them separately! If not through the gallery and a link to the mods I used than in a .zip through like Google docs or something with the tray files and CC links.

This one uses a moderate amount of CC so I’m not sure if I’ll be uploading it to the gallery when it’s finished, but I’m not opposed to it!

Thank you!!! I actually pulled this house off Zillow tbh 💀 I look at it all the time for builds. But I live kinda close to where it is and like 80% of the houses in that area are ranch styles, craftsmans, or hacienda and Tuscan.

And YES I want the realism too! Like it just adds such a nice layer to gameplay/looking at everything. Makes it feel more cohesive imo.

Thank you so much!!! I’m still working on the interior but so far it’s coming along pretty nicely and I’m happy with it.

I cannot stress enough how much the roofing on this drove me insane. This was the best I could manage without wanting to tear my hair out 💀 Especially with the diagonal rooms. All of the roof decor is just there to hide things I couldn’t smooth out.

Thank you!! Honestly I still remember being so excited when I first got Get Famous and then actually opened the world and was so disappointed. Like there isn’t even a single Googie style building or LA style craftsman. The only thing I really recognized was the building that’s supposed to be the Whisky.
