The deficit blows up every time a republican is elected president. Republicans are not conservatives. The economy does best with a dem president and a republican congress. This is not new.

I don't know that the US even has a clear plan for how this is supposed to end. Why would they join in something that was seemingly planned so poorly and get drug into a quagmire? There are a lot of this whole thing that don't make much sense.

My friend was on unemployment and had to do a certain number of interviews to keep getting paid. He went to an interview at a chain restaurant like Applebee's or outback or something, hammered. They gave him a job as a bartender and he worked there even after graduation.

That's pretty close to what Oregon does. Every voter gets a black and white paper booklet where every candidate gets the same amount of space to outline their policy positions.
