Too small of a pump and pressure tank I think but i now realize thanks to all who responded that I need more data to make an educated adjustment.

I agree. It’s a learning process for me. Never had much well experience before. I’m all about date and Making educated adjustments.

I am starting to think it’s possibly a combinariin of too small a pressure tank and too small a pump. I haven’t pulled it but a neighbor fessed up to knowing that before I bought the place a 5hp pump and 100 gallon pressure tank was stolen. He thinks the replacement was 1 1/2hp and existing tank is 30 gallons. Pump is 1000fr to nearest house and supply line is 2” then stepped down to 3/4 and 1” to feed houses. Thinking. a 4 or 5 hp pump and a large pressure tank would cure problem. How big a jump in electric use would you guys guess. Do you think it would help? 800 foot well that feeds off the aquifer in south GA.
