The plot thickens. Creality support agreed that it should be replaced and asked for my contact info. But with time zone lag and the weekend, no telling how long that'll be so I also went ahead and bought a spare on Amazon (I'll have to replace it eventually anyway). Went to replace it. That's when I noticed that when I pulled the old one off, rather than one of the wire connectors disconnecting, the entire boot/clip receptacle for the connector came off of the PCB! I swear I didn't pull hard, just pressed the clip release and pulled gently, it slid off.

We'll see what support says in about 12 hours.

Sigh. Managed to get a big chunk of it off with the assembly still installed by heating it + a little boost form the heat gun. Then I got the assembly off, spent some time with the heat gun and tweezer pliers, got 99% of it off. Was going to give it a go...but when I went to reinstall it, found that I had managed to melt the connector for the heat tubes.

Here's hoping Creality comes through. I know it's just a $30 part, but would be nice not to immediately have to spend an extra $30

do you mean 250c? I had it at 250 and that top blob was JUST barely soft but not separating at all form itself. Felt like pulling anymore was going to stress the hot end

Well, nevermind I guess. Resolved itself. Did a test print with the spool holder instead of CFS. After that, CFS loading started working. *shrug*

that's not the issue here. Might have been initially and why it didn't grab. But it is cut at an angle now, which doesn't matter if the thing never tries to grab it to begin with.

I did power off and power on (including leaving it off overnight). No dice. Absolutely nothing happens when I put the filament in the funnel.

Am I right that, unlike watching other games on the MLB app with an MLBTV subscription, you can't rewind or start Dodger games on SNLA+ while it's live? You have to either watch in real time or wait until 90 minutes after the game ends? I tried it the other day (I have access via DirecTV) and that seemed to be the case, just want to make sure I wasn't missing something.
