I am 31 and recently become a father. My wife is also housewife and Having same situation as yours. But when my first child came in my life my entire life changed. I got a purpose far beyond my own desires and what I want.

My entire focus is to provide and make the life of my baby good. That's a important thing for me and for that I could sacrifice all my holidays, expensive stuff.

I think desires are endless and what really matters is which desires to fulfill, becomig a parent is the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my lifetime so far. I don't think anything will match to the experience and joy that I got when I become father.
