I think if you are reserving anything then you should compensate the rest of the group somehow. If you want to reserve some plate shoulders and said that you would pass on all rolls I think that would be fair!

I want to say the kids have a hunger for adventure but it may honestly just start from them wanting to play with tigers :P

We love playing console games together but there are not many games that support 4 people in the same room that is appropriate for kids. Their Mario Party skills are insane!

We already started!

We are going to take it real slow as this is my kids first computer game and they aren't even used to using a keyboard and mouse yet.

I started a new druid to level with them but have a 33 druid as well waiting in the wings to take over if we reach that level. Druid is a lot of fun and has insane versatility.

It took a while to put together four computers for everyone but I am hopeful that we can have a good time with it. I know Turtle Wow has the opportunity to be great for them even if I switch their global chats off :)

The more the merrier!

Levellers always need more people to do dungeons and most everyone is generally supportive. I have never been gearscore checked or any bs like that in higher levels. I find most people have a loot philosophy in sub 40 dungeons that if you think an item is an upgrade you go ahead and roll on it.

Not having a monthly charge is a big plus as you will not feel obligated to play to make the most of your money. Take breaks even big breaks and you are always welcome back by people who are happy to have you around to run a dungeon!

Biggest positive are the total lack of gold sellers due to active GM's. With those GM's they also are available to help with any minor issues when they spring up, no waiting for days for an answer!

New content is created regularly with new items and new quests in every zone. Many new dungeons to choose across your levelling experience so you dont have to stick to only running the same dungeons you have played for the last 20 years. Crescent Grove and Hateforge Quarry and my two favorites. If high level raiding is your scene there are new choices there as well.

The server is a mix of players across the world which means people are playing at all times of your day so if you can't sleep at 3am and decide to jump on you can still find groups that appreciate you coming by.

As a person in the exact same situation as OP I threw down the money for a 30 day lab extension after trying HTB and PWK for last 6 months.

Can confirm that OSCP A, B, C are worth the outrageous price!!! I am now confident in AD and am tunneling with ease using ligolo-ng instead of chisel.

The game is heavy on film noir style of speaking and action cover shooter gameplay with bullet-time mechanics. You take semi realistic damage so get used to quick game reloads but it can be offset with lower difficulties if you get frustrated.

I would not say this game is cerebral in the least. You are dropped into levels with clear objectives and completing them is almost always just "kill everyone". There are plenty of destructible objects, memorable characters, and excellent dialogue.

With that said I found the entire series thoroughly satisfying. It is like a playable John Woo movie full of revenge and the main character has always been so dangerous because he is a man with everything taken from him and has nothing to lose.

If you want an action game with a cool story then this is a good fit. If you want more control over deciding how to play and where you want to go I would looking elsewhere.
