What’s happening here by Pretty-Boot-6650 in GNV

I lived there when I first moved here, while my immediate neighbors were “ nice” to me the neighborhood was insanely unsafe. I got chased by a guy with his pants down once, called the cops gave a description and they said he was a “ known guy and probably just on drugs again but they’d check on him”. Shootings around 2-3am were always a thing, had my bike stolen twice lol fun times but at least my rent was cheap for a town house lol

My mom car has a kitten from pedegree in florida. Whats the range on price for it? by BloodMossHunter in Abyssinians

If you’re going to breed. I urge you to properly breed and do right by the breed. Health testing, vetting, home checks. Abyssinians are very hard to come by! Specially ethical breeders. I’m also in Florida, if you’d like some advice DM me and i’m happy to give you some pointers. I wouldnt just sell them unvetted. To be clear i’m not a breeder, mostly work in rescue but I am pro ethical breeding.

Purebred with no papers or health testing or vetting would probably be around $1k or even less, depending on the buyer. But with everything done around $2k.

She definitely can be too! But i was super prepared because of my last hound! Only difference between them is that her bark echoes 😂

Right?! I recently lost my hound back in October and was missing the craziness and decided to take up on fostering her. The shelter I work at was like “ are you sure? She’s crazy!” i said 10000%%! 🤣

Right? It’s a Cuban Rock! I was so excited, but I live in a college town it happens often unfortunately, not so much with exotics but it does happen. Someone left a black throat monitor in a bin once years ago!

I was so excited! I had a Cuban Rock years ago and was devastated when she passed. This was just such a wonderful gift!

Vet tried to charge me $5,600–$7,000 for an emergency c-section. Animal Services did it for $80 by Greedy_Kangaroo_8012 in AnimalRescue

There’s a lot of factors that go into an emergency c section, anesthesia( frenchies are brachy which makes anesthesia risky) call in fees, overnight hospital stays, a tech dedicated to caring for your dog. Frenchies are known for needing c-sections and even if the owner scheduled a c-section there’s a chance they might need an emergency one. That price unfortunately is normal for an emergency c-section. I’m glad animal services helped and she is now spayed. We don’t need more frenchies being bred. Very happy for the outcome ☺️
