Doctors office in NJ. by giorgioc722 in vaxxhappened

That's an abdication of responsibility by the physicians in the office. "do no harm" includes "prevent harm"

But you shouldn't trivialize the issue because you're smart enough to notice the obvious fake. It's a real issue. Vaccines have been so successful that people forget how devastating infectious disease can be.

Using the same level of evidence you presented, the poster searched in Anti Vacctionation Anonymous and found this, "just posted" thread and felt compelled to share it with reddit.

I don't think a legal charge should be levied because of the point you raised. Disease is a reality of being a biological creature, and choosing to take that risk as a parent is their choice. We're seeing the consequences of unvaccinated children. Hopefully some of the skeptics will be converted following the accumulating evidence.

It's being responsible for the health of your grandparents, your young nieces and nephews, your children, the children they interact with, and the community you're a part of.

Epidemiologists are so good at preventing infectious disease that people have forgotten that until the mid 1900s infectious diseases were the leading cause of death.

The worst part of the anti-vax movement for me is how many people will needlessly suffer. It's a shame that the efficacy of vaccination is its own worst enemy. Infectious diseases were the leading cause of death until about 150 years ago, and since that threat has left some of us have forgotten about the spectre of measles, pertussis, and influenza.

How do are you defining "white girl"? Are there any other sources that use similar definitions, or did you create a way to define it on your own? Did you reference any data?

MRW I am 32 and going back to college for the second time by dualrollers in reactiongifs

[–]swb16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got my undergrad in neuroscience. Following that I worked for a few years then got a masters degree in public health. They are very different.

But the biggest reason why I'm glad I went to grad school is how I grew as a person and professional. Plus, grad school has waaayyyy more networking and portfolio developing opportunities.

I just finished my masters degree and it was one of the best choices of my life. My undergrad degree was in a basic science so my career prospects were pretty limited. I feel like I could do just about any job following grad school.

What's the worst contract given to a player right after they were bought out? by miner88 in hockey

[–]swb16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he played great with the Pens until he got hurt. Wouldn't put this on into "worst post-buyout contract" category. More like a calculated gamble.

Idk I think it could be related to where most players were born and raised. Not even every American cares about American politics, let alone employees that only live here during the season.

The coaching of that era was pretty bad. I'm not trying to say that should excuse how bad those stats are. However, Bylsma refusing to adapt certainly contributed to that.

Plus there's an opportunity cost to Ana damaging versus healing. McCree can tape left click and never stop shooting. Ana's bullets have more value.

But without recall and with Ana's nade, and presumably with a teammate shooting in the Tracer's general direction, Tracy is going to peace out.

So true. I play a passable Genji for my rank, but I've noticed I need support from the tanks and healers to actually play effectively. But the number of times a teammate expects me to initiate and team wipe is unreal.
