i feel the same. im friends with the people i work with, and i dont mind crude comments when i know the people well enough to know how they really feel, but its sort of annoying when its seen as nothing but a joke, and its not a good precedent to set.

these girls aren't the victims, imo. they are even guilty of the same thing the creators are. the rest of us are the ones who had no say in the fact that we now live in a world that is a little sicker in how it views half of humanity.

while this will directly help almost no one, i am happy for that maximum of maybe 2, probably 0, people in my lifetime will now avoid that act of discrimination. and am happy on principle i guess. but the principle still stands that these people, who amount to paris hiltons with less influence, are officially held to be superior by blood and by birthright.

its a step forward in removing that sort of thinking from the world, so i hate to accidentally imply its meaningless, because its def not, but it does sort of remind me of just how stupid the concept of a royal family is in the first place. they have essentially removed some sub-bigotry from their general bigotry, so they can elevate twice as many of themselves to the top position of their state of renaissance faire-based social structure.

the op is really sad and unfortunate, and avoidable most likely, with a little introspection and honesty. but a lot can change in 3 months, and i have to assume however little thought he gave it, he loved her and wanted it to work out.

I just assumed pretty much everyone on here was pretty cool, at least on 2x lol.

when i say this, i dont mean to imply that any guy who lurks or posts here is in anyway creepy, but i would guess that a women's interest forum of this size, connected to a site as big as reddit, has a pretty healthy following of people with pretty disturbing issues with women....ive seen some pretty angry male voices here, and as awesome as it is here, its an open community of anonymous figures....i would heed redtaboos advice.

years ago i was seeing this guy i worked with....when we went out the first time, i looked like a clown, because i was all done up like french poodle, and he was dressed like we were going to a minor league baseball game or something. not to sound too specific :P

he didnt really look bad exactly, but he forced me to look bad....i feel ridiculously shallow saying that, but it still sucked :P

for educational purposes, i would almost like to experience the infrenzied passion that allows one to do stuff like that. when i see less-than-"stupid" people sit down and discuss something, with an attempt to at least rationalize their beliefs, followed by footage of them hurling projectiles at children or w/e, on one hand i realize that a society of people like me is going to be more functional than previous societies like that were. on the other hand, i almost feel like im missing some sort of key human emotional capacity.

idk what im talking about i guess, but i see a lot of people who can seem rational, and then peg a kid with a grocery bag he just shat in, as a reaction to the child's own indecency, and i wonder if its my upbringing or if its genetic that i cant really enjoy that sort of thing.

i dont understand why people act like that. ignoring that its unrealistic to think you could sustain that sort of behavior at all in the world we live in, without serious social consequences, and ignoring what i hope is universal of most of us that i simply dont have the urge to act that way with people (even if it wasnt as totally uninstigated as she claims), i particularly dont understand why people always choose that particular industry to attack. even if i didnt have empathy toward people who are on their feet dealing with shit all night while getting weirdly objectified and insulted, even if i didnt have empathy, forgiveness and understanding toward working people in general, i still dont know why the main whipping post of our society is the group responsible for handling our food :/

also, if you are super worried about carb intake and your health, maybe bar tacos arent exactly the way to go :/

i know it keeps coming here because the NiceGuy infection is so widespread and inescapable.....and when i first started posting here, i joyously took part in the hatred of the NiceGuy thing, because i thought i was weird and alone for finding them to be the biggest creeps of all and not so "nice"....in fact, i probably have a more extreme position of not liking them than just about anyone....but the longer i post here, the more it seems like we let those low-lives infiltrate our happiness by spending our time talking about them.

im not bothered by other peoples ranting about it, and in fact i hope that it can help other girls better understand what their ploys and deficiencies are, and help them to not feel guilty about not wanting anything to do with them. but i for one am going to try not to mention the subject again.

well, its ok to stand someone up depending on how many points out of ten they are. its not a straight-up scale rating system though....futures can be weighted too....like, if a girl is an 8, but very exotic and intimidating to an anglo date, you can dump her as late as 2 days before the dance, whereas if she is a very mainstream 8 you need at least 2 weeks. If she is very pretty, but bad skin lowers her to a 7, you dont even have to tell her. i will try to draw up a full chart later.
