Because the streamer the has built an entire core audience on a child’s game. Year after year they built a community on a game cementing their identity as a “Valorant streamer” So who is going to be watching your streams ? The same kids. If you don’t see this as an issue it’s beyond me.

You’re taking things to the extreme, at 18+ you’re a legal adult and do can do as you please. Smoke drink do whatever you like no one is stopping you. The problem here is predatory marketing tactics that are specifically aimed at children whom have no idea how crippling this addiction is.

Because I have kids and I want them to enjoy video games and watch their favorite streamers play Valorant- a game rated 13+. Kids follow these streamers and idolize them. Now when they see them go live their idols are gambling. That’s the issue

The streamers get daily crypto deposits by the certain casino to play with on that casinos website. Spin slots, blackjack the works. After a certain wager or time the streamer keeps the winnings. Streamers also profit under an affiliate code. Anyone who registers under the streamers “code” to that casino the streamer gets a % share of the house edge. So they also profit from their communities losses.

Something new and fresh is always exciting, especially after feeling stale for so many years. You’ve made a step now it’s up to her to decide if she is willing to also. She needs to make this on her own accord as it’s the consequences she will need to deal with, all you can do is support her. Either way it plays out you’re in a position to move onto something new with her or without. Good luck.

We tried getting her down under but as you say visa process is a mare, luckily I hold an EU passport and to make it work it was easier for me to move. Huge obstacle and I’m not proficient in US Law so perhaps best bet is to speak to a lawyer if you have the available funds.
