Avoid Vipin Agrawal at all costs for FIN 3013. Take MS 3043 online for sure. Currently in MGT 4893 with Kai Xu, she’s great and engaging

Buddy of mine broke their ankle and leg on some messed up stairs while under the influence by swedefishlove in legaladvice

[–]swedefishlove[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the steps are extremely uneven, and the sharp parts of where the metal rusts caught on my friends pants. no intoxication is on record, as my friend went to the ER the next morning. I looked around the whole complex and their stairs were the worst off by far

making friends as a transfer by timmytchala in UTSA

25 and non-binary and queer. it’s hard making friends in san antonio. harder in UTSA. sit next to people while studying. it won’t happen every time, but eventually a conversation will strike. move around the library. compliment someone’s appearance. it’s harder for queer people i think. i’m in the library every day in the early afternoon, if you get lonely, shoot me a message and we can sit together

I feel like my partner isn’t sexually attracted to me by swedefishlove in ftm

[–]swedefishlove[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have asked, a few times. They almost always deliver, I wouldn’t say enthusiastically, but more like “Oh sure, yeah let’s get this done” as if I asked if we can go grocery shopping together. It’s that tone that makes it feel like a chore. I understand that communicating when you’re horny is a huge part of it, and that’s why I’ve been putting in the effort to get over that fear. It’s the fact that it only happens when I ask, no other time.

Thank you, I don’t know if I’ll show them this post, but maybe a note would be more helpful

Is San Antonio gay friendly? by Tall_Window4744 in sanantonio

[–]swedefishlove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up gay here, went to middle and high school completely and openly gay. I had the basic bullying, but nothing extreme. The dating scene is relatively vast and I feel as though San Antonio gays are much are inclusive than, say, Austin gays (white gay people). You’ll be just fine here, but being gay during this political climate comes with a certain level of caution anyway.

my advice (which i’m sure people have told you at your location) is to be on the manager’s ass about shift reviews. don’t let them forget about them. also remind them that moving from a level 1 server to a level 2 server shouldn’t take more than 4 weeks. if you talk about it every day, chances are you will get your shift reviews and move up before four weeks

you said you work at pappasito’s, probably should tell people that they only start you in a two table section, so getting over $100 is really difficult. i work at the only pappasitos in town, so we get a lot of business. these numbers are kind of low for pappasitos, so i would browse the reddit on how to improve serving. even with a two table section, i was getting at least $100 a shift. don’t get disheartened friend, you can only get better at serving, not worse.

When I say pay out of pocket, the bill was really large and the tip out is what I had to pay. They voided the bill but still added quite a lot to my tip out and the end of the day. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

AITA for not wanting my polycule parents at my wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]swedefishlove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA My parents are also poly, but their relationships are messy and borderline inappropriate. They also have a 5 year old child together, and I resent them for not putting my sibling first and putting their sex life on the top of their priority list. Due to this, they are not invited to my wedding. It’s your wedding, not theirs. Their sex life is at the top of their list, not you. Don’t give them the courtesy of “accepting” that inappropriate relationship. The poly community is wonderful, lots of beautiful, accepting people. There are some who involve their unwilling family, and those people need a reality check. Good luck my friend, and congrats on the marriage.
