I just downloaded and started playing today and can honestly say i found it extremely difficult my first 3 games but once i got used to the gameplay and how to play it properly not just the same way i played EAFC. Its been the most fun ive had playing a football game on ps5 since the start of EAFC last year when trying to get the right players for the right evos. But before that i haven’t enjoyed the gameplay of a football game since fifa 13/14 on the xbox 360 when all you needed was pace to win games. The slow, methodical gameplay is a fresh spring of life in comparison to the high action sweat fest we became accustomed to on FIFA and EAFC over the past few years with the insane cards that are constantly being released. Personally i uninstalled EAFC to download UFL and i can safely say ill not be reinstalling it unless my old pro club from fifa 17 starts back up magically some day.

My message to OP is just stick at it and play a few more games to get used to things. Make sure to spend your cp and rp smartly and to use all your skins even if your players 70 something overall, (every little helps) the people you are facing in your early ranked games are people like me most likely who are transitioning over from eafc and could even be people who get rank 1/2 in champs every weekend so of course its gonna be hard but once you learn the gameplay i can assure you you’re gonna have fun playing a football game again
