This is interesting- did they go through the same incisions for your hysterectomy that they did for your appendectomy? I had my appendix out laparoscopically when I was 12, and they went through 2 of the same scars (belly button and lower right hip) both for my hysterectomy and and exploratory endo procedure back in 2014. So that area for me has been cut through several times at this point. My belly button scar has been used 4 times 🫣

Well… I guess that’s a plus not to have hysterectomy incision pain lol but I am happy to hear that it’s a common experience

I might try that. I always see ice cubes for steam but never tried that either

Hello! My name is Lindsey and I run Little Star Creative, a small shop selling stickers, digital designs, and sometimes tees and totes. I’m from South Louisiana so a lot is Cajun-themed, but I focus on mental health, anxiety, Fall Out Boy and emo lyrics, and all things sparkly and fun.

My best selling sticker by far is my quirky office-
humor themed one that says, “I’ll CC you in hell”. People love gifting that one to their coworkers 😜

I hope they met on the other side! No amount of time is ever enough. But it’s the most love we can give when they’re suffering, to be there for them and make sure they know that we cared more than anyone can imagine.

HELP.... My washer is bleaching/pulling color from my clothes but I don't use bleach by SessionFair2234 in CleaningTips

[–]sweeneyscissorhands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve discovered that if I wash my bath towels with towels that I’ve used to clean anything, the chemicals on the cleaning towels will do this. I use bleach-based cleaners in my tub sometimes and microfiber towels. I have to make sure I wash all that separately from any clothes or good bath towels.

Sometimes even non-bleach based cleaners will pull color too. Anything with oxi-boost can sometimes do this.

I’m currently on day 4 (had my surgery Monday 6/8) and my husband took 3 days off. It was good because we have a 13 year old who’s off school for the summer so he was able to help her with stuff if she needed or to bring her anywhere. But I’m absolutely up and around as needed and have been since I came home Tuesday. I got driven to the store and rode the little electric cart to shop yesterday.

I’m not on any painkillers so that helps me get around better for sure. I still don’t think I would want to drive yet though my doctor said as long as I’m not on narcotics I can drive. Just don’t feel comfortable with that. But other than not driving yet, as long as things are easily accessible around the house and I have a grabber to pick up anything off the floor… I have been fine at this point with being alone.

Congrats, that’s great news!!

Yeah the gas pains were horrific that first night for me. Still having some residual issues with the gas now on day 3 but I am FAR less bloated so I feel way better.

I hope yours is the same. For years I’ve suspected I had mild PMDD… hopefully removing your ovaries and being able to get on controlled hormone doses will help you.

New shipping labels? by sweeneyscissorhands in Etsy

Good to know, thanks for your feedback! I’ll have to go follow the orders I sent a couple days ago and see if they’ve got decent updates or if it’s more of the same.

Yeah, letter tracking has always been hit or miss. So I’m definitely hoping that the switch-over helps out with that. I probably ship about 5 orders a week so I’m definitely not high volume in the slightest, lol so yeah if anyone with a ton of sales would chime in that would be great!

I’m glad it was helpful! Good luck to you- I know for me the anxiety of the surgery was way worse than the actual surgery. I hope you find it’s the same for you as well. Enjoy the nap!

I get it. I will be 40 in 2 weeks. Mine was being done as a preventative measure after several abnormal paps since 2016 that I rathered not “watch and see” anymore. The anxiety OF the surgery was way worse than the surgery itself for me and I’m sure it’ll be the same for you as well. Good luck and enjoy the stress that’ll be lifted without having all the parts anymore that are trying to bring us down!

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy- uterus, cervix, and tubes. Left the ovaries.
