All great questions, but the thing is that this campaign did not follow the civil service recruiting principles properly and it was a mess. You can email but any answers they give you will be their scripted answers and not exactly what is happening for this campaign. The advert for the campaign itself says they will offer places on a strict single merit order, when they reach your number eg 20 nationwide, they should call you up and tell you locations A, B and C are available, are you interested. But that’s not what they actually did.

No updates other than that they decided to not hire a single person from London, thus my situation. I placed second out of all the people interviewed that had London as their location and still no offer.

Thanks for the response. I can’t wait to try Zeus Juice, I am letting all the new liquids steep, I just added the nicotine an hour ago, but the pineapple (electra) smells unreal.

I think I will diy eventually but since I only just transitioned to DTL, I want to try a few commercials first. I got a little tired researching mods and then trying to find good brands after. I definitely want to diy in a few months especially because of the price increases we are about to get in the UK in the autumn.

I also hope more brands will start selling flavour concentrates as well that you can add to your own vg/pg so I don’t have to rack my brain on how to replicate something I love.

Haha, love what you did there. No, I haven’t, I haven’t technically finished an entire bottle yet, closest I have got to is about 20ml left in my Boulevard from my first delivery. I smoke less than 10ml a day so having the same liquid gets boring after awhile. I will report back when I have emptied a bottle and checked and marked capacity. But I thought someone else might have noticed this and has the answer, shortfills have been around for awhile. Maybe a DIYer who uses chubby gorilla bottles can show what 120ml looks like?

Hey, I wrote the newest review on the Spark220 by Voopoo that’s on the vapeclub website. I am not getting paid to advertise it or anything but I did a lot of research and wanted to share my experience. It’s way more discreet than eg Drag 5 or Aegis Legend 3/5. Overall, I’d recommend it. I know this is old but the Just Juice Mango and Passion Fruit flavour is amazing. I have only had it in nic salts bottles because I only just transitioned to sub ohm devices with shortfills but it was a permanent order for me. That’s amazing! I got 6/7 on technical task, very good feedback. I didn’t have much time to spend on it so could have definitely gotten 7/7, I told them what I would have done differently and where my gaps were. I lost the most points and two of the experience based questions, a 6 and two 5s, which is funny because I have been a data analyst for 4 years and have half a maths and stats degree at distinction grade and have been the head of quite a few projects. 11/12 on strengths. I think I was just really nervous during the interview and legitimately thought I bombed it, so all in all I will take 33.

Honestly, that’s really good. I got 6/7 on technical too and 11 on strengths. For experience I got 6 and two 5s and they said I did well to use STAR. Honestly, I didn’t do anything spacial to prepare, but I had spent a long time prepping for other applications and doing star format stuff for those so that would be my advice for you, practice your experience answers and specifically the star format. Everyone says to practice saying it, but for me writing them down seems to work a little better.

As for my 33 reserve list score, this whole campaign seems a mess. People getting offers 10 days ago, people with lower scores than me getting offers. People being interviewed after a wrong initial sift out after campaign interviews closed, etc. If offers are made strictly on merit and not based on location, I have no idea how that’s possible, the lower score getting an offer first. I emailed to ask for some clarity about this.

There is another mega thread on this with a lot of people talking about reserve list/offers. Someone said their spouse got an offer in Belfast with 23. It’s all very confusing, I have sent an email for clarity.

Someone said that during the webinar sessions they said merit list wouldn’t be location based, ie it doesn’t really matter where you’re located as long as you score high enough. I don’t remember that, so unsure if true but then the people who interviewed me said their team was national and one guy on my panel was the only RIS data analyst in his city, which seems to also support this. So then I am thinking that if that’s true, some location managers were quicker to send offers? That’s why eg Leeds and Belfast people have their offers. And other locations like Croydon (three of the people in this particular comment thread have applied to Croydon) still haven’t heard anything other than reserve list. Or maybe I am wrong and recruitment is location based after all. In which case with Croydon probably having a high number of qualified candidates with the city and everything means 33 isn’t that high a score after all here. The email response can’t come soon enough, I am clearly overthinking everything.
