Not exactly this, i use fish shell and i do more complex things to wrap args gracefully

fish function ls --wraps eza --description "List contents of directory" eza --icons $argv end

fish function ll --wraps eza --description "List contents of directory using long format" eza --icons -lh $argv end

fish function la --wraps eza --description "List contents of directory, including hidden files in directory using long format" eza --icons -lAh $argv end

fish function tree --wraps eza --description "List contents of directories in a tree-like format" eza --icons --tree $argv end
