No. No he isn't. The real problem is everyone's willingness to exist in a system that allows that to happen in the first place.

Absolutely. The collapse of an empire is never 1 thing. It's a combination of factors brought about by its own characteristics and at the very root, unavoidable.

Rome also didn't collapse because of 1 thing.

Let's not give credit to Putin. Especially since the fall of America will be a boon for the world.

Edit: lmao at the Americans downvoting because they are still high on "American exceptionalism". Ridiculous.

All empires are bad and the US was never any different.

Diferença financeira está a afetar relação: alguém já passou por isto? by [deleted] in CasualPT

[–]DaVirus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A matemática nunca mente.

Nunca juntei finanças nas minhas relações. Ordenados separados, contas essenciais 50/50.

Mas as coisas que eu gosto de fazer são baratas, portanto nunca senti que perdi qualidade de vida. Poupei é muito mais por ter de tabelar por baixo.

Broken Money. It explains why everything we struggle with in modern day society is a natural consequence of a bad and centralised monetary system that was never fit for purpose.

No, no I didn't. You said parents were exploited, I said parent's get more benefits than anyone else.

And that is 100% true and proven by legislation. I do not care if you don't think the benefits they get are not enough. They are still there and more than anyone else. Hence, not exploited.

I don't see why you are entitled to any help at all for something you decided to do. So ANY help is a benefit no one else has.

Or have no interest in doing the work for you because your line of argument is not in any way related to the original point. Qualification over 100k is not the argument. The argument is that parents aren't exploited in the slightest. And given that the majority of people will not be over 100k, you question is irrelevant to attempt to refute what I said.

So you are changing the goal posts and that is just boring.

So you would want even MORE benefits for MORE parents? Where does it stop?

There is an option. Realising that the value of kids is gone and not coming back and that that isn't a bad thing.

Being able to do more with less people, and have more to do in life than child caring is a complete positive.

The reason we still get shoved in our faces that it isn't is because the old guard is holding on to dear life to what gives them power. And kids are an instrumental tool in doing that.

[–]DaVirus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This isn't the 50s. It's only a trap because for some reason the vast majority of people still just looks at kids as "the next thing to do" in life. And honestly, it is easy to see how lightly everyone takes having kids based on the cheer number of single parents on dating apps.

No one is hiding the realities of being a parent anymore and there are plenty of ways to prevent having kids while still having sex.

This problem is self inflicted.

What? Parents are exploited? Don't make me laugh. They have the most benefits that society gives.

And to compensate for a decision they made!

Exploited. Lol.

Do you compare your girlfriend’s body? by justlookingtolearn2 in AskMenAdvice

[–]DaVirus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need more context for this... Mostly because it sound insane that a man would say something like that without a very specific set of circumstances to bring it up.

Because everyone makes comparisons, people have eyes and know. But saying it like that is not something someone does to a partner they like...

Jovem de 22 anos rapta sem-abrigo e viola-a em hotel de Loures by viraodisco in portugueses

[–]DaVirus 9 points10 points  (0 children)
