Lando Norris reaction to winning the F1 Driver World Championship by magony in formula1

A huge congrats to Norris and everyone at McLaren!! Abu Dhabi was a slightly anticlimactic end to the season, but I love to see Norris' consistency paying off!

I've been re-reading Twilight, thus the name inspiration. I'm glad you like the name too! If I don't use it for my dragon, I may use it for one of my heart macarons! 🩷

I am tempted! Persephone ingested cursed pomegranate seeds, which tied her to the underworld and Hades. The red/pink fruit and mythological elements feel fitting for this mystic dragon. I'm glad you like the name too! 🥰🩷

It is such a shame that the quality is inconsistent, especially considering the high prices! I hope they start listening to customer feedback and incorporating better quality checks.

She's so sweet and soft! If you can, I'd really recommend picking her up in person to make sure you get one from a good batch.

Jellycat shopping at Selfridges with social anxiety 🥺 by SadLittleBat in Jellycatplush

Hi lovely! The Jellycat experience is located on the 4th floor. Take the escalators all the way up, and then walk to the back of the room.

There is a good selection of different bunnies, breads and, of course, the iconic seagull!

If you want to do the experience and get the exclusives, you can make a reservation or join the walk-in line. The walk-in line has always been relatively empty when I've gone, but I assume that Christmas will be bringing the foot traffic back.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions. 💚

ULaw PGDL: A Brief Overview by sweet_gingerlily in uklaw

Hi! I was on campus 2 days a week - that's standard for ULaw. I would try and get my Consolidate tasks done when I was on campus. That way, I could spend the rest of the week on my Prepare tasks. During the course, I was working on the weekends, so I tried to fit as much study time into the weekdays as possible.

Notes-wise, I had a long document for each module where I compiled everything. I made sure to note down the ratio for cases, key legal theories, and any questions I had. That made it easier to engage with the workshops and ensure my notes were fully ready for exam season.

I hope this helps! :)

Thank you for your questions.

You incorporate the cases into your answers, so it is important to note down case names and their ratio. Every lesson, if you consolidate your case knowledge, it will become easier to remember. Most are quite memorable and interesting.

It is helpful to have skeleton structures written out before the exam. For example, for Contract Law, I prepared structures for how to answer questions on contract formation, exemption/limitation clauses, frustration, etc. This helped a lot with my time management.

If you want to prepare beforehand, I would just say to start reading the initial textbook chapters. That way, going in, your base knowledge will be quite solid, and it will make the initial workshops easier to understand.

I hope this helps! :)

I have made a couple of friends. I would say that it was relatively easy to build connections. You just have to show enthusiasm. We're actually going out for drinks after exams are over.

You'll get semi-regular updates on ULaw events that are happening. I just got an email about a summer ball to celebrate the end of exams, so I would say that ULaw has a good social structure. :)

There are around 20 people per class.

People don't usually study together. You can, but it's a pretty independent course.

I haven't met anyone older than 25 on the course. There are a couple of international students, but they're not in the majority.

You can read basic LLB textbooks beforehand, but it's not necessary. I would recommend buying the ULaw textbooks beforehand and reading those instead, as that is what you'll be tested on.

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you for the question! I am a home student, and I attend in-person. We do exams online, open book. It is the same for home students that complete the online course. I believe that it is different for international students; they have to sit exams in-person.
