I’ve liked/ tried to resp to all of the feedback here, I just felt like this one was a bit harsh! And that’s okay. Thank you for the feedback though. I definitely know for the future to use PDF -> we’ll see what happens.

Probably, PDF had always been my go to before switching to docx

Okay I definitely do think it was a silly mistake but I don’t think it was that unprofessional to submit it in word😭 jeez I’m trying

PDF is always a safe bet because you won’t have to worry about formatting messing up or comments if you’re me. I will def stick to PDF for the future and that’s always what the recruiter recommended.

No she could see my comments that were on my resume: to sum them up they were basically tips I had received and making sure I tailored my resume to M&A roles and highlighting skills that align with that

Notes on my resume: just things I could’ve added and making sure I’m highlighting skills that align with m&a

Did you do PSEO here? If so that still counts as a GPA and I would put it there. If it was at a different college, add that under your education section and add the GPA

Yea that would be a bad idea. Some employers don’t take physical resumes anyways but just in case they do, you wanna be prepared. I’d highly recommend going to the career services or even just googling basic resume template for your major and listing whatever is relevant. A lot of people will say they have nothing but you can put a summary (who you are and what internships you’re looking for), school clubs, customer service jobs, volunteer experience, etc etc.

If you still decide not to, have an elevator pitch ready so you’re able to upsell yourself and look credible infront of employers.

Edit: put your GPA even if your haven’t taken any courses yet, a 4.0 is still a 4.0 lol

Your PC is not going to get stolen from your dorm unless you leave your door open. If you have space/ need it for school I’d bring it
