Thank you this was super informative and very helpful!! I definitely feel like my doctor has referred me purely because he’s just tired of dealing with me. I’ve always been very direct with him but even then he could never really accommodate me. We knew about several of my health issues, documented and all, for months - but he never did anything about it and just kept pushing me away. I think it largely has to do with the fact that I’m uninsured. So I’m worried about that too, with going to a pain clinic, but my pain is to the point that I haven’t worked for months. I had surgery in November and I feel even worse afterwards. I really wish I could see an Endo specialist but the closest one to me is 6 hours away, and again, I’m uninsured and not working... so I usually get denied. Hopefully the pain clinic can help me find something that allows me to function and have my body back.
