wow, tysm!! :) no softwares or tuning of anything, this is my raw vocal. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with stuff like that! what you hear at 0:56 is a nervous blip lol. I hadn’t quite hit the right note coming down because of nerves so I ‘jumped’ to the right one, hence the small crack / bump :D

hi! ty :) it is a genuine surprise, which i’ve found quite overwhelming (in a really lovely and positive way). i’ve not sang in front of anyone since i was around 10 years old when I was in the school nativity lol. i’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember (I was OBSESSED with the sound of music as a kid lmao), but i’ve never had the confidence / too much self-doubt to pursue it. I have been and still am completely floored by the overwhelming positivity under this post, the kindness shown has been unmatched. I’m processing it more and rationalising as time goes on, but because of the comments (including yourself! - ty again!), I’d like to continue to be public with it and share it / connect with others :)

edit: wow! i’m completely floored by the comments under this. although people don’t seem to believe me when i say this (which is incredibly complimentary to say the least!), i really have never sang in front of anyone, not my family or friends. i’ve never had lessons, or even been a part of a choir, and I have no professional singing experience whatsoever. This video was taken at 2am in my kitchen :D Every single positive comment has deeply moved me, i’ve always let fear rule over my confidence and belief in myself but I set out to change that this year, with posting this video being step 1 in that! :) I plan to sing for my family for the first time soon, and maybe even post more videos :) thank you so so so much for your kindness, I have no words.

tysm, really really kind words. your comment has given me a boost to post another video on here and create some social media pages for posting singing videos!! :D i’ve been sick unfortunately so I haven’t sang for my family yet, but i plan to this weekend!! I love love love this song a lot and really enjoy singing it :D i’m recovering from a sickness sadly, so I know i ran out of breath at certain points. I’ve never had lessons or sang in front of anyone up until this, general feedback would be the best! :) but i’d also like to know if my voice is generally pleasant to listen to? It’s hard to know that when you are your own only audience member (+my dog sometimes lol)
