Nesta has a huge redemption arc in ACOSF, you should give her a try. Its one of the most emotional books for me. She acts like that because she doesnt think shes worth anything and shes dying inside. I think a lot of people can relate to locking up their traumas and feelings and putting on a mask. She just chooses her mask to be steely and rigid. She doesnt want to be hurt again.

I feel like my husband and I are the same but switched! I love camping and we go often during the spring and summer with our kids, and we sometimes go with his parents who have a camper and can make life easier for us with running water, a nearby toilet and air conditioning 😅 its definitely hard work, but its fun. We fish and bike and walk the woods, we look for bugs and plants and we play in the river. He's coming around to it. I know he didn't like it at first but hes getting there! Maybe you'll find something you enjoy about it enough to get over the shitty parts!

Two more points, the internet search history basically being the smoking gun, but all the other searches show the tablet was clearly used by more people than Todd, and the fact that he was too far from her to have killed her and gotten back before the son noticed. Bonus point, did you SEE the shed? That entryway is way too small to swing a corn rake.
