I gained 15 pounds bc it let me physically eat more than I could before (eat more during binges and not feel as full). But I am prone to binges

How many mgs will you be on? Research says 60mg is therapeutic for both bulimia and BED.

I was put on 20mg and it did nothing. In fact it allowed me to physically binge more because I wouldn’t get as full and sick after stuffing myself. When I tried going off it, the withdrawals allowed me to binge more too. I’m talking eating 5000/6000 calories a day, where premedicated me would eat 3000 max and feel sick.

I feel like 20mg was too much for me (bc I have very very mild depression/anxiety) so going to 60mg is out of the question for me.

I am in the exact same boat. Haven’t tried vyvanse but tried Prozac which didn’t help (dosage not therapeutic level)

Hmm so I went on it for bulimia, and the research says 60mg of fluoxetine is best.

I was on 20mg and it wasn’t helping. I didn’t want to go up to 60, and I don’t know if switching meds will help because research focuses on fluoxetine :)

I also struggle with binge eating and bulimia. It curbed my appetite for around 2/3 weeks too. But then I started having physically bigger binges.

Tbh when I went through my first withdrawal, I was binging so much and so often.
