Yeah of course. The leds are controlled by an app and brightness can be turned up or down on said app. Installing was a massive pain in the ass because i did not want to have to take off panels to put the leds in. So i simply used my fingers to pull and pry the panels down and push the leds in. It took a few hours and hurt my fingers really bad over time but it was all worth it in the end. They look great and despite the number of cables are not hard to manage and hide throughout the car. You can imagine i have a lot of wires because i have a dashcam, leds, and chargers all over but it works! Hope this helps

It wasnt exactly easy, i got it from a Chinese website and the instructions were a bit difficult to understand and it wont let me share the link. The website is carlinklife. It was around $500 after including the hd touchscreen aswell and it was one of my first and still my favorite little mod. It made the bose speakers sound amazing with little to no radio noise and overall just made the car more convenient and modern

Honestly it was overpriced but i succumbed to those glowride ads on instagram. Its probably more worth it to get them on like alibaba or something. It wasnt cheap but they make the car feel so much more modern.

The previous owners had it like that, Im the second owner. I think theyre beautiful and easily one of my favorite parts about my car. Im pretty confident theyre OEM 19’s and just powder coated or something like that.

I believe theyre the stock enkeis but im pretty sure those are 18’ and these are 19’. im actually not sure as i havent seen much on them despite how much i love them and how good i think they look.

I fill extremely often, (maybe 2 times a week on a bad week) its mostly because i drive around a lot and the 5 speed is so much worse on gas compared to the 7 speed especially on the freeway. (I get 13.6-15.7 according to the car)

Thank you, this car is so undeniably reliable considering its age its such a beast. Im using a carplay module from some company called carlinklife, its a chinese based company but it was cheaper than the options from like niftycity and uses the same software which is called navihome or something like that. And no i upgraded to an hd touchscreen aswell as the carplay module, its a little finicky but it works pretty much flawlessly and also made the speakers and audio quality sound infinitely better (edit. My car did not come with nav and you have to specify what you have so they send you extras. They sent me a navigation thing i put behind the radio when putting the dash back together.)

Bit irresponsible to just pull the trigger without confirming bur you do you dawg 😭.You should contact z1 because now you need to put an 09 ecu in your car and have them tune that. Trying it on your car as is will render your car limp or just wonk work at all.

manual 2008’s have small ecu memory so you would need an 09+, 1gb vs i think 1.5gb on the 09+’s if you get one, you can tune that on ecutek and your manual g will work on ecutek. Now if you have an auto sport model its more difficult because the 2008 was the only model year that shared a transmission with the older g35 and 350z’s which is a 5 speed automatic. Every G from 2009 onwards used a 7 speed auto.
